Just in time for bicycle season, come learn how to care for your bicycle.
Participants will come away knowing:
-how to fix a flat tire
-adjust brakes and shifting
-how to use adjustments on the seat and handlebar to get the proper fit
Other topics may include removing and replacing wheels with correct alignment and torque, how to straighten handlebars, how to lubricate the chain, and any other questions participants come with. Participants are encouraged to bring their bike so they can practice on it as we go along.
Owen started Solar Cycle with the goal of becoming New Hampshire's first off-the-grid bicycle repair shop in 2020. Now, with a workshop run by solar energy, he has been specializing in e-bike conversions. His customers bring him a regular bicycle and he adds the equipment to make pedaling up hills a breeze. He also does lots of maintenance on regular bikes, as well as restorations, bike fittings, and has new and used parts for sale. There is a 24/7 drop off and pick up shed for the convenience of his customers.
Registration is $60/person.
