As a massage therapist, I am able to affect my clients in a positive way that likewise affects me. The meaning of Mudita is “finding joy in the happiness and success of others”, and is a guiding principle in why I do what I do. Helping my clients feel better is a gratifying experience that pushes me to continue improving my practice, learning new techniques, and creating the best possible environment for relaxation and healing.

I believe that having a healthy work/life balance is imperative to presenting the best version of myself in my massage practice. Outside of being a massage therapist I’m a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu black belt and instructor at Monadnock BJJ , mediocre guitarist, outdoor enthusiast, and lover of live music.

In my roles as both a massage therapist and movement educator, I read peoples’ bodies. I watch, feel, and listen for stories. We, as client and therapist, then get to move forward as a team editing and writing the story of the body together.

Every body and session presents a unique opportunity. While I can’t promise to make your stress disappear, fix, or heal you, I can promise to listen intently and help your body do what it already knows how to do.

One of my greatest sources of inspiration is the seemingly unending, ever-connected, inner workings of the human body and how those inner workings influence who we are and how we show up in the world.

*I am not currently accepting new clients. Please reach out directly at info@mudita.live if you wish to be added to the waitlist.

As an ultrasound and X-ray technologist, I enter the massage therapy profession with an innate sense of the human body. I believe that being active and receiving regular massage is integral to re-balancing the whole body to take on our busy lives. You can’t pour from an empty cup!

I arrived in the Monadnock region from Connecticut and did much of my learning at the North Eastern Institute of Whole Health. When I’m not busy caring for my daughter Aurora Juliet with my partner Stephen, I am passionate about self care, hiking, yoga, cycling, and skiing. Armed with anatomical knowledge and a natural sense of empathy, I provide everything from relaxation to deep tissue, and specialize in catering to your specific preference.

I have long had a passion for movement and a deep appreciation for the capabilities of the human body, which has grown through my time spent in nature—traveling, hiking, and biking. I was drawn to massage therapy by my desire to foster the practice of connecting mind and body in myself and my clients. I believe massage is a beautiful way to care for others and encourage them to care for themselves.

When I am not practicing massage, I can most often be found in my garden with my dogs, canoeing and swimming the lakes and rivers of the northeast, or around a food-laden table with friends and family.

I look forward to welcoming clients into a comfortable caring space in which we work together to create intentional connections in mind and body.

Hands-on bodywork is a special supportive relationship between therapist and client.  As the therapist I am here to help you let go of and free yourself from the things that hinder your deep wisdom and innate capacity to heal and thrive.  We all have that within us, but the traumas (big and little) that we live through can set up patterns of guarding and contracting that we often are not conscious of.  I feel honored to be in the role of helper in your healing and growth process.

My training began with a thorough study of Swedish Massage and included training in Russian and Japanese Chair Massage, Sports Massage, and Neuromuscular therapy.  Fascinated by the potential for a gentle touch to elicit powerful results, I pursued training in Reiki and Craniosacral Therapy.  For the past five years, I have been studying Spacial Dynamics which combines movement practice with bodywork that invites a healthy flow of life force through and around the body. I love to dance and explore movement and play.

For the past ten years, I’ve dedicated myself to the art of Thai Massage, a practice I learned in Bangkok. Among my favorite modalities is Thai Foot Massage, a unique way to experience the connections of the nervous system through the soles of the feet.

I approach every session with a trauma-informed lens with the belief that rest is revolutionary. My intention is to serve with compassion and understanding in order to support cellular ease.

I also teach yoga, mindfulness, and meditation. My practice is inclusive to the physical body when community building and connecting with the earth. I love learning, dreaming, being challenged, cooking, and water.

My books open 60 days in advance. I'll be away Dec. 24th - Feb. 7th spending time with my mom and learning more massage methods in Thailand. Can't wait to reconnect in the new lunar year!
