Aaron Shields, LMT
As a massage therapist, I am able to affect my clients in a positive way that likewise affects me. The meaning of Mudita is “finding joy in the happiness and success of others”, and is a guiding principle in why I do what I do. Helping my clients feel better is a gratifying experience that pushes me to continue improving my practice, learning new techniques and creating the best possible environment for relaxation and healing.
I believe that having a healthy work/life balance is imperative to presenting the best version of myself in my massage practice. Outside of being a massage therapist I am an avid Brazilian Jiu Jitsu practitioner and instructor, mediocre guitarist, outdoor enthusiast, and lover of live music.
Kat Wood, LMT, CYT-200hr
In my roles as both a massage therapist and yoga teacher, I am a body reader. I watch, feel, and listen to peoples’ bodies. The body has a lot to say when we are able to tune in and listen.
I love that every body and every session presents a unique opportunity to work together as a team. While I can’t promise to make your stress disappear, fix, or heal you, I can promise to listen intently and help your body do what it already knows how to do.
Continuing to learn how the human body works is one of my greatest sources of inspiration and excitement.
When I’m not at the studio, you can find me scaling rock walls, digging in the dirt, napping, or with my nose in a book with my sweet pups close by.
