Regathering Humility a warm class with Sara

Humus is dark, organic material that forms in soil when plant and animal matter decays. Humus is often described as the "life-force" of the soil. The process that converts soil organic matter into humus feeds the population of microorganisms and other creatures in the soil, and thus maintains high and healthy levels of soil life. Humus and humility are in the same family of words. Knowing we are the earth, we can love ourselves the same as we love the mountains, sunsets, and rivers. This kind of self-love is simple, earthly, and life-giving.

For this special class to honor the turning of the Gregorian New Year, we'll move slowly and thoughtfully through sequences of yoga asanas and guided meditations together as a beloved community. We'll dwell in busynessless - taking refuge in the present moment, letting go of worrying about the past and future. All are welcome!
