Lymphatic Care + Facial Tension Release

Join us at the end of January for a hands-on workshop where you'll learn practical tools for self-care and proactive health maintenance. This immersive session will guide you through practices that promote relaxation, tension release, and improve lymphatic flow.

What You'll Learn:

1. Full Body Lymphatic Drainage Brush Down

  • A simple, effective technique that requires no fancy brushes or gadgets.

  • Perfect for weekly maintenance and proactive care.

2. Head, Neck, and Jaw Tension Release

  • Massage and myofascial techniques to address tension in key muscle groups:

    • Suboccipitals

    • Platysma

    • Sternocleidomastoid (SCM)

    • Masseter

    • Temporalis

  • Optional guided intraoral and intranasal work for deeper tension relief.

3. Facial Cupping Techniques

  • Basic techniques for relaxation, tension release, and lymphatic drainage.

Suggestions for Attending:

  • Dress comfortably: Wear loose-fitting clothing that allows easy access to your neck and collarbones for a comfortable and effective session.

  • Pull your hair back: Plan to tie your hair back and/or bring a headband to keep your face clear of hair while we are working.

  • Eat beforehand: Have lunch or a light meal an hour or two before the workshop.

  • Prepare your skin: Arrive with skin free of makeup, moisturizers, or other topical products.

  • Stay hydrated: Hydrated tissues are easier to work with, enhancing your experience.

  • Plan to rest afterward: It's common to feel very relaxed or even tired after the session, so plan for some downtime to allow your body to recover and integrate the benefits.

This workshop is a valuable opportunity to learn techniques that you can integrate into your regular self-care routine. Whether you're looking to relieve tension, enhance lymphatic flow, or simply relax, this session offers tools to support your overall well-being.

These techniques can be useful in managing chronic head and neck tension, tension headaches, TMJ disorder, and overall stress.

Included in pricing is a set of facial cups and small bottle of Bathing Culture’s Outer Being Face Oil.
If you have skin sensitivities and prefer to bring your own facial oil for cupping, please feel welcome.
