Mindful Mobility

Thursdays // 6:30am - 7:30am // All-levels

Mobility is the balance of strength and flexibility. 

With these two tenants in mind, this practice will explore moving joints through controlled, full ranges of motion; articulating through segments of the spine; understanding and practicing breathing mechanics; increasing proprioception; and mobilizing fascia through self-massage and gliding movements. 

This practice is often heavily floor-based. Students can expect to expend a moderate amount of energy and be surprisingly challenged by what it means to “own” the range of motion in a joint.
