The Chill Side

The slightly more chill, regular temperature  cousin class of Movement Fusion. This class draws on multidisciplinary movement modalities to provide you with an accessible movement practice.

This class will weave together self massage, somatic movement, traditional yoga asana, and creative use of props with a sense of inquiry and curiosity to explore and restore. We will focus on the practice of connecting to felt, internal experience of breath and movement rather than aesthetic.

Students can expect to move slowly but don’t conflate slow with ease. We will still seek to find challenges in our exploration. This class is appropriate for folks that:  are new to yoga; would like a compliment to more vigorous, intense yoga practices; desire a greater understanding of how the body works; want to close out their week with care and attention to self.
