What is Contrast Therapy?
In short, it is alternating between the temperature extremes of hot and cold. This can be done in baths, saunas, and live waters and has been practiced by civilizations around the world for thousands of years.
What can I expect from this workshop?
-Together, we will cover the latest research on Contrast Therapy and its benefits for the cardiovascular, immune, and metabolic systems. We will also cover the evolutionary theory of stress adaptation that makes this a practice that connects us to our deepest roots as humans.
-You will learn the methods to practice contrast therapy safely and effectively whether you have sauna access or not.
-You will be professionally guided through three rounds of ice baths and two rounds of circuit style exercises/yoga in an infrared heated room.

- Full water bottle

Cold Exposure + Contrast Therapy Talk lead by Sara Norris
Sara Norris is a Certified Level 1 Wim Hof Method Instructor through Inner Fire, a Certified Functional Breathing Instructor through Oxygen Advantage, and a Certified Nature and Forest Therapy Guide through ANFT. Each of these therapies offer similar benefits; boosting the immune system, decreasing stress, supporting the healing of anxiety and depression and bringing us back in touch with our evolutionary roots. Sara enjoys combining these methods in her work with clients and participants and loves to share just how connected we were meant to be.
